Haplogroup R1b is discussed in a Wikipedia article. The combo clade is actually a set of clades which have in common DYS 617 greater than or equal to 13 and DYS406s1 greater than or equal to 11. Persons in this clade are advised to join the R1b-L513 Hg Project and work towards discovery of their terminal SNP.

Genetic Distance

Genetic distance is a measure of the differences between two haplotypes. In its simplest form one simply counts the number of markers that differ. The model used is known as the Hybrid Mutation Model and conforms to that used by Family Tree DNA.
