My great-great-great grandmother was Catherine (Donoghue) Driscoll, married to John Driscoll. Catherine was born in 1802 in Bantry. They had 14 children, but we only now 11 of them. Any info into this family would be great. Catherine emigrated in approx. 1851 with seven of her children. Her son, Patrick is where my family descends from. We have no birthdate or information on John nor do we know why he and the other children did not go with to the U.S. Eventually, Catherine settled in Bureau County Illinois where she is buried.
