
A view of the cathedral from North Street. The foundation stone is dated 1825. It is said that much of the stone used to build the Cathedral came from the ruins of an O'Driscoll Castle at Reengaroga on the banks of the River Ilen. Towards the back, on the left side is the memorial to Rev O'Driscoll shown below.
