The page is remaining here for legacy purposes, As of December 2014, the project is no longer accepting autosomal DNA participants. Existing participants who have complied with project requirements and wish to stay in the project are grandfathered in. Autosomal testers may want to utilize the services of a website like GEDMATCH for its DNA analytic tools.
This table is being generated with experimental software. The last update was 23-Apr-2014.
Symmetric matches are considered duplicates (if A matches B then B matches A) and were eliminated for the table.
The 23-Apr-2014 update eliminated records between two close relatives (defined as having total shared centimorgans greater than or equal to 400); close relative records skew the importance of a particular DNA segment.
Connections are not transitive, i.e., on a given chromosome and segment, if A matches B and A matches C, it does not follow that B matches C.
This table is limited by the FTDNA data downloadable from the administrative interface. This is not the same data as the large autosomal results data file that GEDMATCH users upload to that website.
A more detailed explanation on interpretation of matches will be posted time permitting.
