Notes:
- According to Mitchell: "Generally, Church of Ireland graveyards should be examined irrespective of an ancestor's religion. It was October 1829 before a Catholic cemetery opened in Dublin at Goddenbridge. Prior to the 1820s, owing to the operation of Penal laws, both Catholics and Protestants shared the same graveyards". He goes on to explain that not until the 1860s were dissenting ministers allowed to perform burial services. Thus we are to infer that until that time both Catholics and Protestants shared the same graveyards in many cases.
