Descendants of William George Turner (abt 1761-1847) & Margaret Kemp (1758-1822)
Current Update: 01-Sep-2009
Last Update: 04-Aug-2009
Welcome to my Turner Family Web Site. Many hours have been put into the preparation, research and documentation of these records.
William George Turner and his wife, Margaret Kemp and their children, came to Cole Harbour, Halifax County, Nova Scotia, about 1790, from the Keith, Banffshire, area of Scotland. Today many of their descendants still live in and around the area of Cole Harbour, with other descendants living in Atlantic Canada, throughout Canada and the United States.
As with all such undertakings, accuracy is tried to be maintained, but errors and mistakes do happen. If at anytime you discover a mistake, omission, or anything you believe to be an error, please e-mail me. I would very much appreciate all the help I can get.
This Turner Family is an ongoing project, and over the next while will be changing continually, with the addition of pictures, hopefully new descendants, and new designs. Please check from time-to-time for new additions.

Charles Roger Pelletier & Angela Jodie Milton reside in Riverview, New Brunswick, Canada, which is a small town-suburb of the City of Moncton. Riverview is situated across the Petitcodiac River, From Moncton, in Albert County.
Charles has been researching his ancestry for over 20 years while Angela is new to the hobby, or should I say “addiction”.
Charles, whose ancestry is centered on Nova Scotia and New Brunswick, with ancestry connecting to the Lunenburg settlers, Scottish influx into Nova Scotia, Planters and Pioneers of the Maritimes with many “cousins” throughout North America and other parts of the Globe, is originally from Cole Harbour (just outside Dartmouth), Nova Scotia where his ancestry of Bissett, Settle, Turner, and related families of Gammon, Kuhn, Morash, Giles, Tulloch and others reside.
Angela, whose ancestry connects directly into the respected Moncton, Albert County and Westmorland County names such as Jonah, Steeves, Milton, Butland, Kinnie, Beaumont and others. She also ties into Nova Scotia through the Lunenburg Settlers and Planters and Pioneers, is originally from Hillsborough New Brunswick and the founding families of that area.
Our goal is to provide researchers with an avenue to further help and assist with their goals and efforts and to meet other researchers, whether unrelated or fitting into the research of our ancestry and further the wonderful knowledge, ancestry and legacy that we are very proud of.
