1. LUDWIG HOFFMAN was born in 1781. He died on 26 Nov 1843 in GLUECKSTAL, RUSSIA.
I believe that this mans name was Ludwig also, although I haven't documented that yet. There was a Ludwig Hoffmann who emigrated from Waldangelbach (Waldangelloch) Sinsheim, Baden to Turien in the year 1809. IF this is he correct Ludwig, he died in Glueckstal at the age of 62: St. Petersburg film # 1882594/3 95 190. I'm still checking for verification. Ludwig Hoffman's year of birth was calculated from his age at death.
LUDWIG married CHRISTINA RUMLER. CHRISTINA was born in 1783. She died on 6 Nov 1839 in GLUECKSTAL, RUSSIA.
I have added Christina Rumler as the wife of Ludwig Hoffman for the simple reason that her death record states she was wife of Ludwig Hoffman. This is totally hypothetical and needs much more research, however, she is the best "guess" right now...still checking. Christina's year of birth was calculated by using her age at death. Death record found on St. Petersburg film 1882649 3 241 70, it states she was from Speik and died at age 56 of tuberculosis. It also gives her maiden name: Rumler.
