Sanborn, 90, of Fremont Road, died Thursday, Aug. 21, 2003, at the Sunbridge Care & Rehabilitation Center in Exeter, following a brief illness. A native and lifelong resident of Epping, he was born on May 21, 1913, the son of Walter P. and Sylvia A. Sanborn. During World War II, he served in the U.S. Army under General Patton in the Battle of the Bulge. For many years he owned and operated Sanborn's Nursery. An avid reader, he was also employed for many years as a driver for the N.H. State Library Book Mobile. He also enjoyed sailing and spent many summers on Bow Lake in Strafford. He was a member of the Rockingham County Grange and was a longtime contributor to the Epping Historical Society. He is survived by two brothers, Richard F. Sanborn of Epping, N.H., and Willard Sanborn of Pensacola, Fla.; one sister, Edith Ingalls of Madison, Maine; and several nieces and nephews. ======================== SANBORN - Donald R.
