Born in Osgood, IN, a daughter of the late Harry and Mamie Newman Dobson, she retired as office manager of the former Carpet World, had owned a sewing business and was a member of Wesleyan Heights United Methodist Church. She had been a member and former officer of the Younger Women s Club of Owensboro, and enjoyed the time she spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Survivors include two daughters and their husbands, Nancy and Joe Eskridge of Owensboro, and Susan and Tony Tiemersma of Douglasville, GA; four grandchildren and their spouses, Allen and Randa Remer Eskridge of Lexington, Gi Gi and Bill Hartlage of Louisville, Doug Tiemersma of Owensboro, and Bryan Tiemersma of Douglasville, GA; and two great-grandchildren, Emma Rose Tiemersma of Douglasville, GA and Chase Hartlage of Louisville. Services are at 2 p.m. Sunday at Glenn Funeral Home, where visitation will be form 4 until 8 p.m. Saturday and from noon until 2 p.m. Sunday.
