Jennie Mae Barnard Gagon 1927 ~ 2007 Jennie Mae Barnard Gagon, age 79, passed away on January 1, 2007, in Murray, Utah. She was born on September 11, 1927, in Salt Lake City to Sherman and Mima Barnard. She was an active member of the LDS Church, and served in the Mexico City Mission from 1952-54 and as a service missionary at Welfare Square from 1991-2005. Her deep faith in God led her to always find good in others. She was a great example of forgiveness. She is survived by her children Rory (Michelle) Gagon, Sherman (Cyndi) Gagon, Shelley (Steve) Martin, Lee (Karen) Barnard and Lisa Anderson; 19 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the wonderful staff at the Murray Care Center. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, January 5, 2007 at 3:00 p.m. at Mountain View Memorial, 3115 East 7800 South, Cottonwood Heights, Utah. Viewing will be one hour prior to the service on Friday and from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, January 4, 2007. Interment at Mountain View Memorial Cemetery. Published in the Salt Lake Tribune on 1/3/2007.
