Colby was a native of Bingham. For several years he was connected with the larger lumber concerns in New England and the Canadian provinces. She worked at Hunnewells Store in Woolwich for eight years and at Roy Lilly's Market in Dresden for 15 years. She married her second husband, Farnham Rice, on Sept. 29, 1957. She was predeceased by her second husband in April, 1979. Survivors include two granddaughters, a great-great-granddaughter, and a niece. A graveside service will be held at a later date in Laurel Grove Cemetery in Woolwich. Memorial donations may be made to the Make-A-Wish-Foundation, 87 Elm St., Camden 04843.
