There are two Robert Colbrans who may have descendents in Queensland and they are:

Robert COLBRAN 1854 - 1921

The son of John COLBRAN and Jane Honeyset, born at  Richmond, New South Wales in 1854. Robert married Mary Ann Charles at Bathurst in 1890 and they had one son  before migrating to Queensland. Besides the son Robert born in Dubbo, Robert and Mary had the following    children in Queelsland:

Ethel Ruby     COLBRAN   B 1893 Married Charles Michael DONALD
Arthur Joseph  COLBRAN   B 1895
Walter James   COLBRAN   B 1897
Chester Ernest COLBRAN   B 1899 Married Alice Mary HYNES

Robert COLBRAN 1859 - 1929

The grandson of John COLBRAN and Jane HUNISETT, a son of John Michael COLBRAN born at  Richmond, New South Wales in 1859. Robert married  Catherine Ann BRETT at DUBBO in 1879 and they had five children between 1882 and 1887. In 1912 Catherine Ann took a new husband claiming that Robert was dead, but we all know now that Robert was alive and well  living in Queensland.

When did Robert move to Queensland? -   
Is this the same Robert who married Caroline LOCKERY in Bourke before moving to Queensland?
