Obituary, Jacksonville Daily Courier, 1927. Mrs. Sallie Coker of 1413 South West street passed away at 6:10 o'clock Thursday evening.
She was born in Georgetown, Kentucky, June 25, 1854, a daughter of Isaac and Eliza A. Salyers. She was united in marriage with George Coker October 24, 1875, who with two children, Amos Coker and Mrs. Charles Caldwell, both of this city survive. There are five grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Mrs. Coker was a member of the Union Baptist church.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 o'clock Saturday afternoon at the Gillham Funeral Home with interment in the Scott Cemetery.
