John C. Lindsley is my great, great, grandfather, and William Martin Lindsley is my great grandfather and Martin's son William Allen Lindsley is my paternal grandfather. I am the youngest of 4, I am 58 and been doing genealogy since 1983. A Verna Nation Jones in 1985 sent me the data on all the Lindsley's in Cass Co., IL and I sent to here all the data I have forward. She has remarried and lives in Elkhart, Indiana (I think) My dad's oldest sister had a book that her mother, Mary Martin (Smith) Lindsley passed on to her with all this except the information on Martin Luther Lindsley data.
Mrs. Verna Nation Jones' husband was a desendant of Julia Ann Lindsley. Erastus died in Adams General Hospital in Memphis, TN 20 Mar 1964 but I have been unable to find his burial place. I have all of William Martin and Erastus's military records.
