  General Notes:

During her application for her husband's pension, in a deposition before Ichabod Potter, Margaret stated:
...Sarah Hodgson, of Perth Amboy, widow. Robert had smallpox, she went and took him to the house of James Dunham in Withfield.
Oct. 3, 1792. Christian Dunham, wife of James Dunham, swears as above. In latter part of summer of 1781, Robert Coddington of Woodbridge, a private in the 1st Regiment. of Middlesex Militia, was wounded in the head at Perth Amboy, was wounded again in 1782 in a skirmish near Staten Island.
Gravestone says, "Margaret, widow of Robert CODDINGTON, d. 12 Feb 1850, in 84th yr."
