     Charles Brent Cochran was born on 1 September 1913 at McConnelsville, Morgan County, Ohio.1 He was the son of Francis Wayland Cochran and Maude C. Brent. He died on 19 May 2004 at Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, at age 90.2
