     Elizabeth A. Croft was born on 1 April 1840 at Cleveland, Cuyahoga County, Ohio.1,2,3 She was the daughter of John Croft and Mary A. Roberts. She and Charles C. Baird were married on 9 May 1857 at Wood County, Ohio.4,5 She died on 29 December 1916 at Ohio at age 76. She had been ill with paralysis for about 2 years befor9 her death.2,6 She was buried on 31 December 1916 in Fort Meigs Cemetery (Perrysburg), Wood County, Ohio.2
