Samuel Cochran To John Cochran
Received for Record March 20th 1833 Recorded March 28th AD 1833.
This indenture made the 4th day of March in the year of our Lord 1833 by and between Samuel Cochran of Deneggall Township in the County of Washington and Sate of Pennsylvania of the first part and John Cochran of the Town of Zanesville in the State of Ohio of the second part witnesseth that the said Samuel Cochran in and for the sum of three hundred dollars to him in hand paid by the said John Cochran at and before the insealing and delivery of these presents the receipt whereof the sd Samuel Cochran doth hereby acknowledge hath granted bargained and sold and by these presents doth grant bargain sell release convey and confirm unto the said John Cochran his heirs executors administrators or assigns all his rite title property claim and demand off in and two and out of the following described tract or ________ of land the same being situate lying and being in the Zanesville Land District in Morgan County and being the South 1/2 of the South East quarter of Section 9 Township 10 Range 11 containing 83 acres of land be the same more or less. To have and to hold the above described land with all the appurtuninances thereunto belonging or in any wise appurtaining to the only proper use benefit and behoof of him the said John Cochran his heirs and assigns forever with full power to the said John Cochran to convey the same in fee simpel and to warrant and defend the above described land against all lawful claims whatever the same being conveyed to Samuel Cochran by William Hammon and Eloner his wife by conveyance dated the 26th day of November AD 1831 which will appear on reference being had to the Records of Morgan County. In testimony whereof the sd Samuel Cochran has to these presents set his hand and seal the day of the date of these presents

Washington County Before me the subscriber a Justice of the Peace in and for said County personly came Samuel Cochran the above grantor and acknowledged the above to be his act and deed for the specified purposes therein mentioned and says that the same may be entred on Record as such in testimony whereof I have set my hand and seal this 4th day of March AD 1833
