[480]
During the War Between the States, he served in Company H, 19th Tennessee Infantry Regiment.
[481]
On this enumeration, his middle initial was mistakenly given as 'N'. Also listed in the household at this time were daughter Minnie and her son Walton, along with two grandchildren who are as yet unidentified. They were Dan Ryan (born Jun 1881 in Texas) and Kate Ryan (born Mar 1886 in Texas).
[482] At that time he was the oldest child remaining in his parent's household. The report listed his age as 23, which translates to a birth date of 1827.
[483] At that time he was enumerated as having $3000 of Real Estate wealth and $3000 of personal wealth. His family was situated next door to his brother Carter William Cobb.
[906] This event was recorded in Marriage Book D, pp 69, McMinn County, Tennessee.
