From the Chattanooga Times - Special, Benton, TN, Feb 26 -- Mrs. E.A. Biggs, 81 widow of T.T. Biggs, died in Etowah, Tennessee Feb 24 at the home of ex-sheriff B.E. Biggs, with whom she resided. She had been a member of the Baptist church for 73 years. An account of her life written by her own hand was read in part at the service. "Eunice Attaline Kimbrough was born in Jeffereson County, Tennessee, near Mossy Creek, May 16, 1843, daughter of D.W. and Eliza Cooke Kimbrough, pioneer Baptist minister of Tennessee. In 1849 she moved to McMinn County to her mother's girlhood home, she being a daughter of William H. and Mary Cantrell Cooke. She joined Conasauga Baptist Church in September 1852. Married Thomas T. Biggs at age 21 years and was the mother of seven children."
[984] In the book "Descendents of Robert Cooke and Sarah Fielding " by Robert Kimbrough, p. 12, it says that Thomas was a f armer, and they resided in McMinn County in 1885-1886, an d at Benton in 1907; in 1910 she resided with her son, Burc h Bigg, in Etowah, Tenn. Thomas Temple Biggs was first mar ried to Attie's cousin, Deborah Clarinda Cooper.
