In his household at that time were two males under sixteen years ofage, which coincides with the ages of his sons Thomas and Samuel. Alsolisted are four females, which offers a bit of a mystery. In additionto his wife Rachel, daughters Mary and Esther were present. But theidentity of the fourth female is unknown. She was possibly anotherdaughter that died young, or possibly Rachel's mother. We willprobably never know for sure.
This family does not appear on the 1800 census for Lincoln County,which coincides with the belief that they had moved to Kentucky bythat time.
