Roxanna Roberts, wife of Lewis Hulbert indicated in 1865 that she was born in Alleghany Co. and gave her age as 46.

In the 1875 census, Roxana Roberts Hulbert indicated she was born in Cattaraugus Co., NY her age was 55 . Her sister Samantha was also living there aged 58 and gave her birthplace as Cattaragus Co. This is right next to Allegheny Co but the Cattaraugus County historian had no record of the Joram Roberts family.
