C2 & W. 1/2 of L27 Con 2, 23 Jan 1804. Deed of B & S. signed 12 Jan 1804.
Apparently signed land paper in 1804; in 1818 inland to grandson Nich. Hartman he made his mark; psly. ill at the time.
Some records give him the prefix name of Johann
* note: German Flatts was in Montgomery Co., NY until the formation of Herkimer Co., NY in 1791
