Editor's Comments
From
the Secretary's Report:
"It
is a pleasure to feel that there is a great interest in family
associations today, that there is a more universal sense of
responsibility to the demands of life and a greater sense of importance
of our being. The Stark Annual this year goes to half the states of the
Union, and to Canada. In this number we give special notice to some of
Stark descent who, true to the same spirit that inspired their
forefathers, have answered "the call," and we know the family
is brought in closer touch through a feeling of mutual interest in these
brave lives." [The United States had entered World War I]
