Ellen DeVries, indexer, Marriage records, Gage County, Nebraska, Volume 1 (1861-1892) and 2 (1893-1908), (Lincoln, Nebraska: Nebraska State Genealogical Society,  1994). The two volumes of this publication were searched for Clovers. The only Clover located was in Volume 2.
Pery [sic] Clover married Eva Roschell on 7 July 1900, recorded in Book J, page 536.

Katherine M. Clover, 70, Ulysses, died Friday (1/30/04) in Lincoln.
Services: 10 a.m. Tuesday, Faith Lutheran Church, Seward. Visitation: 8:30 a.m.-8:30 p.m. today, Volzke Mortuary, Seward; one hour prior to services, church. Memorials: American Cancer Society.

Katherine M. Clover, 70, Ulysses, died Friday (30 January 2004) in Lincoln. Born 6 June 1933, in Lamperthim, Germany. Married Wayne Clover on 17 April 1976, in Seward. Survivors: husband, Wayne Clover; son and daugher in law, Jim and Sharon Clover, Seward; brother and sister in law, Klaus and Irenen Schlnapper, Germany; grandsons, James and Jonathan Clover.

Omaha – Funeral for Alice M. (Clover) Eddy, 79, of Omaha will be Monday at 10 a.m. at Mount View Presbyterian Church in Omaha.  Mrs. Eddy died Sept. 8 in Omaha. She lived in Council Bluffs before moving to Omaha. She worked as an accountant for People’s Natural Gas Co. Survivors include her husband, Jack; two daughters, Ann DeLashmutt and husband, Donn, and Jeanne Farley and husband, Jim; two sons, Robert Clover and wife, Patricia, and John Eddy and wife, Donna; two sisters, Kay Nowlin and Helen Tracy; nine grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park in Omaha. Roeder Mortuary in Omaha is in charge of arrangements. Memorials may be offered to Mount View Presbyterian Church or the Lutheran Church of the Master.

Obituary of Mrs. John W. Clover
Esther (Hester) Caroline Disbrow Clover
[Monroe Co., Illinois marriage records show first name as Hester.  Records alternate between the two names.]

    Mrs. John W. Clover, a former resident near Hastings, Nebraska died March 7, 1910 at Pender, Nebraska.  The remains were brought for burial and the funeral was held Thursday afternoon from the Methodist Church here.
    Her maiden name was Esther Caroline Disbrow and she was born December 13, 1853 at Waterloo, Illinois where she lived until the time of her marriage to John Wesley Clover, January 1, 1874 when they moved to Johnson County, Nebraska.  In 1881 they moved to a farm near Hastings where they lived until 1902 when they moved to Pender, Nebraska.
    To this union eight children were born, five of whom survive her.  Mrs. John Dill (Mae), of Craif, Nebraska, William J. Clover of Pender, Mrs. James H. Wearin of Hastings, Charles E. Clover and Halle D. Clover at home.  Mrs. Clover is also survived by an aged mother, Mrs. Amanda Disbrow, and Sister, Mrs. I.N. Clover (Mahala) of Glenwood, Iowa, Mrs. Anna Jones and Mrs. Lissie Inman of St. Louis, Missouri.
