Arthur Frederick Clover born 12 May 1889, Kent County, England.  He was married with a small child, and a British subject.  He registered in Lake County, Florida and was a resident of Fruitland Park, Florida.

Barbara Clover James Originally published April 28, 2006
        Barbara (Gustaveson) Clover James, 81, of Fort Myers, Fla., died April 26, 2006, at Hope Hospice House. She was born Jan. 12, 1925, in Ottumwa, Iowa, to Charles Elgar Gustaveson and Leah Rose (Humiston) Gustaveson Helten.
        Barbara received her bachelor's degree in education from Bowling Green State University and her master's in education from Miami University. In 1983, she retired after 31 years of teaching in Lancaster City, Canal Winchester and Sycamore Community schools.  From 1979 to 2000, she managed MiReCo Productions, a professional speaking company. She taught Sunday School, sang in the church choir and was a teen advisor while in Ohio. She was an active member of Twig, Bridge Club, Alpha Xi Delta Sorority and PEO Sisterhood. She also was a Kentucky Colonel. In 1947, Barbara married her first husband, James B. Clover Sr. (deceased). In 1968, she wed her second husband, Merlin R. James, who now survives her. They moved to Fort Myers in 1987, where she was a member of Covenant Presbyterian Church and Whiskey Creek Country Club.
        Survivors include her four children, Jeanne (Rocky) Johnson of St. Petersburg, Fla., James B. (Becki) Clover Jr. of Riverside, Calif., Elizabeth (Brian) Hall of Bradenton, Fla., and Charles W. Clover of Petaluma, Calif; three stepsons, Brad A. (Patty) James of Toledo, Bruce N. (Mary Beth) James of Celina and Brian R. James of Wilmington; ten grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
        A memorial service will be at the Covenant Presbyterian Church, 2429 McGregor Blvd., at 2 p.m. May 20.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 4575 Via Royale, Suite 110, Fort Myers, FL 33919 or Hope Hospice House, 9470 Health Park Circle, Fort Myers, FL 33908.

Ruth Ann Rodgers, 77, Sarasota, formerly of Columbus, Ohio, died Jan. 26, 2008.
    Services will be at 11 a.m. Feb. 14 at Covenant Life Presbyterian Church in Sarasota. Burial is in Rose Hill Burial Park in Akron, Ohio. Billow Funeral Home, Fairlawn Chapel in Fairlawn, Ohio, handled arrangements.
        Survivors include her husband of 34 years, Larry Rodgers; daughter Barbara (Michael) York of Dallas, Texas; son Randy (Jill) Sanders of South Bloomingville, Ohio; stepsons Capt. Richard (Rachel) Rodgers serving in Iraq, Phillip (Shirley) Rodgers of Fuquay-Varina, N.C., and Jeffrey (Lisa) Rodgers of Nashville, Tenn.; stepdaughters Jill (Rich) Clover of Evanston, Wyo., and Laura (Eric) Walsh of Utica, Ohio; 15 grandchildren; three great-grandsons; brothers Larry, Harry and Bob Voelker; and sister Betty Rees.
        Ruth Ann was a well known and successful Realtor in Columbus, Ohio, winning local and national recognition prior to her move with her husband to Sarasota in 1984. She and her husband, Larry, volunteered at the Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall for 17 years before her illness prevented continuing. Ruth Ann and her husband are members of Covenant Life Presbyterian Church. Ruth really enjoyed the traveling that she and Larry did over the years. Family and friends were Ruth's passions in life. Providing calm support and reassurance was a role she provided for so many other people during her lifetime. Ruth was a beautiful and compassionate woman.
        In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to TideWell Hospice and Palliative Care, 5955 Rand Blvd., Sarasota, FL 34238.

CLOVER Ms. - Jacquelyn Y. Clover, 43, passed away March 11, 2006, in Jacksonville, FL. She leaves to mourn one daughter, Kristen Gant; two sons, Hollis Breazeal and Calvin Lambert; parents, John Hollis Clover and Geraldine Clover Bennett; one brother, Ricky Clover; one sister, Sophia Clover; a number of other relatives and friends. Homegoing services will be held Saturday, March 18, 2006, at 11 AM, in the Mt. Moriah Baptist Church, with the Rev. Percy Jackson Jr., officiating. Ms. Clover will rest in the mortuary for visitation of friends Friday from 5 until 8 PM. The cortege will assemble at Morris Manor, 9050 Norfolk Blvd., at 10 AM. Interment will be in Restlawn Memorial Park.

Barbara Jean (Gustavson) (Clover) James age 81, of Fort Myers, Fl, formerly of Cincinnati, Ohio & Lancaster, Ohio passed away Wednesday, APril 26, 2006 at Hope Hospice House in Fort Myers, FL. She was born January 12, 1925 in Ottumwa, Iowa to the late Charles Elgar & Leah Rose (Helton) Gustaveson. In 1968, she wed Merlin R. James, a 1949 graduate of Coldwater Ohio High School and the son of the late Spain & Alice (Bell) James. He now survives her.

        A Memorial service honoring Barbara's life will be held at the Covenant Presbyterian Church, 2439 McGregor Blvd., Fort Myers, FL on Saturday, May 20, 2006 Reverend Stu Austin & Pastor Tom Church officiating. Final resting place will be the Dayton National Veteran Affairs Cemetery in Dayton, Ohio. Memorial Contributions may be directed to the American Cancer Society or the Hope House Hospice, 9470 Health Park Circle, Fort Myers, FL 33908.
