A search of the FHL surname index for Clover always turns up a connection to the Artlip family. On FHL microfilm 1206419, item 19, there are some Clover group sheets. Since some of the individuals here can be found in the New York Vital Record Index, this seems to be a good time to share the Clover information with you. The group sheets were created by Athella C. King, 7309 16th Avenue SW, Seattle, Washington 98106, in 1980. She relied upon the diary of Myrtle Clover, cemetery information, and the book, The Artlip Family by Elaine Artlip. The following information except for the censuses is from those group sheets unless otherwise noted. The material was reprinted with her permission.
1. Frederick Thomas Clover, born 9 December 1873, Chilham, Kent, England, (son of Edward Clover and Mary Anne Cocentha Elizabeth Bartham Walker) died 6 November 1952, buried: Boughton Hill Cemetery, Victor, Ontario County, New York. Frederick married first 7 November 1897, in Macedon Center, Wayne, New York, Myrtle Orlena Turner. Myrtle was the daughter of Henry Judson Turner and Sarah Cordelia (Artlip) Miller. Myrtle, born 2 September 1874, Springwater, Livingston County, New York, died 4 November 1943. Frederick married second, June Mabel Penrod.
Frederick Thomas Clover and Myrta Clover were naturalized in Ontario County, New York in 1910.(1)
The group sheet gives Mary Anne’s full name as listed. However, the following census implies that she had previously been married to a Walker and that Bartham was may have been her maiden name.

Warren married first 13 May 1926, Dorothy Elizabeth Hattinger. He married second June Gardiner.
Emily Nix sent a copy of his social security application form. He was living in Vicot, New York, on 27 November 1936, when he made the application. He stated tha the was the son of Frederic Thomas Clover and Myrtle Turner, and was born 5 September 1903 at Victor, New York.

3. Raymond Frederick Clover, born 4 October 1899, Victor, Ontario County, New York, died August 1981, last residence Fairport, Monroe County, New York 14564.(2) Raymond married 24 June 1922, Hazel Lillian Gardiner, (daughter of George M .Gardiner and Gertrude Smith). He married second, Helen Jones.

6. ii Ronald Gardiner Clover, born 15 March 1932, Rochester, Monroe County, New York, married first 4 October 1952, Naomi Spader, married second, Linda Bloomgren.
7. iii Sylvia Ann Clover, born 16 April 1934, Rochester, Monroe County, New York, married Richard Bordun.
