Abraham or Abram Clover of England and New York

Abram Clover was born in England and appears to have come to America between 1826 and 1830. He probably died just before 1850. His widow, Jane, is in the 1850 census of Lewis County. His children are mostly in Lewis County.  Abram was born between 1790 and 1800 according to the 1830 census. According to John's obituary, his mother was Jane Pay so I am sure this is the right marriage.

The following obituary was sent to me by someone with access to church records.  I was not clear what they were.
Abraham Clover : His obituary shows that Abraham Clover was born at Ashford, in Kent County, England. He was about 49 years old at his death, in 1849. He was apparently a member of the church at Turin at the time of his death.  He left a widow and eight children.

Mrs. Jane Clover
DIED---In Constableville, N. Y., January 6, 1881, Mrs. Jane Clover, aged seventy-four years. Sister Clover had for more than fifty years been associated with the people of God. Her attachment to her family and friends was strong and abiding, her piety fervent yet unassuming, and her last days marked by a quiet, peaceful trust and hope, and a warm desire to depart and be with Christ.
    The hour of her burial was improved by the writer from Psalm cxvi. 15: "Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints."
C. Bailey.
Signs of the Times, Middletown, N. Y., Vol. 49, Feb 1, 1881, p. 36.

On the website for Lewis Co., NY, his name appears as part of a presbytery which organized a new church at Lowville.

CHURCHES:
WEST TURIN (1834)
The West Turin Church was formed by members who withdrew from the Turin Church, in 1834, under very trying circumstances. Charges were brought against about twenty members, who refused to fellowship the churches of the Black River Association because it had adopted the modern mission system. These twenty members claimed the identity of the church, and soon increased to forty in number. A detailed account of the trouble is given in the Signs of the Times, 1834, pp. 232-237.
SURNAMES OF MEMBERS:
Carter, Clark, Cone, Kentnen, Lyman, Miller, Myers, Payne, Rayan, Salmon, Tolles, Webb (very incomplete list due to loss of records).
EBENEZER (1836)
Ebenezer, at Lowville, was organized into a distinct church on Monday, July 11, 1836, by about 25 or 30 brethren and sisters who had been dismissed for that purpose from the West Turin Church, of which Elder Martin Salmon was pastor. The presbytery was composed of Elder Martin Salmon and Bro. Enoch Lyman from West Turin Church;
Bro. Abraham Clover from Ebenezer Church at Utica; and Elder Gilbert Beebe from New Vernon Church. Elder Evan J. Williams was chosen as pastor.

Much of my information about this family comes from the following obituary.
