book, please contact me at: junebyr@gmail.com
If you
choose to copy thie
material, please pass the URL to your
cousins so that
they can benefit from updates. If you want them, I
have photocopies of all probate, marriage,
military records, county history, tax records, and
other sources referred to in this book.
Please bear with me
as it is taking a
while to put this up. I lost my original computer file in a
computer incident several years ago. Consequently, I am having to
retype this all and double check the typing. I will be
starting
on the next generation shortly. If there is a person you want
me
to add, let me know. It doesn't matter what order I do them
in.
I am also adding in some material that I published later in
my
newsletters such as the Franklin County deed records.

Records:
For your information, I have recently
posted photocopies of many of the civil war pension records for this
family. I acquired these way back in 2001 when the price was not so
awful. I thought you all might like to see them.
There are several instances where there are signed affidavits
from other family members. I am listing them here
because you might
not find them otherwise. I personally like to see the signatures
and thought you might also. Most of these individuals suffered
from
Typhoid and Malaria. There were about 83,000 soldiers who died of
Typhoid during the war and many more who had residual damage.
Many
of them stated that they had Typhoid Pneumonia which caused them to
suffer difficulty in breathing and coughed blood up. Two of
these
men
were killed by disease. No one was killed in action. This
was a time when Typhoid was a serious killer. The son of President
Lincoln died of Typhoid, and Prince Albert, spouse of Queen Victoria
died of the disease. I mention this so you will realize how
prevalent it was.
William Clover, son of Jacob Clover. Affidavit from Joshua Lilly,

Clover, son of Aaron Clover
Edward Clover Affidavit by soldier proves children and wife.

George Clover, son of Solomon and Jane Clover. Affidavit by George M.
Clover, his uncle. Affidavit by James and Mary Dougherty, his
aunt and uncle.
George Bushong, married Mary Clover, died in 1864. Affidavits prove
both her marriages and her son.
Willis Clover, Affidavits from George W. Butler, Joshua Doherty, John
W. Elliot, L. Woodruff.
