The Clover Family Compendium

        The Clover Family Historical Society was started in 2001. It began as the newsletter, The Clover Family Chronicles, and has grown into the Clover Family Historical Society founded in 2006.
We now have a growing and active membership, some of which are family memberships which include more than one person. We have an annual meeting, at which the members renew old friendships, make new friendships, attend meetings and lectures. Our membership includes families from all over the country.
Our members are mailed a quarterly publication entitled: Clover Family News and Notes. It contains approximately four pages per issue with interesting articles and family information, all submitted by our members. Join and contribute an article about your ancestors. In addition, the organization supports a website of Clover information entitled The Clover Family Compendium, which contains our data base. Our data base contains family information on thousands of families. Perhaps your ancestors are among these. The website is at http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~clover/index.html

        The goal of the Clover Family Historical Society is to gather together actual research on all Clover families. For some people, a list of names that they download from Ancestry is enough. They don't care if it is correct. They don’t care about the details. The Clover Family Historical Society is for those people who want serious research with footnotes and proof and discussions of problems. Our site has many kinds of data depending on the source and who contributes the data. But it always intends to improve the quality of Clover research. It always intends to assist experienced researchers and to educate new researchers on what constitutes serious research.
        Copies of Clover Newsletters, books, and other publications by June Clover Byrne are available at a nominal cost.
