Aggje Vandersyde was born on 28 November 1834.¹ She was the daughter of Leendert Van Der Zijde and Lintje Van Steenberg.¹ Aggje married Jan Cornelius Ton, son of Jan Ton and Pietertje Stam, on 1 April 1853.¹ They had 21 children. Many of these children died in infancy. Their children were:, Jan, Cornelius, Leendert, Pieter, Cornelius, Elizabeth, Maria, L., Trijntje, Lijntje, Trijntje, Trijntje, Goris, Goris, Cornelius, Nellie, Goris J., Dirk J., Cornelius, Arie and Aagje.¹ Aggje died on 5 August 1913 in Chicago, Cook County, Illinois.¹ She was 78 old.
