     Anthony Jacobs was born on 11 June 1884 in the U.S.A..1 Anthony married Eva Dalenberg, daughter of Willem Dalenberg and Rikje Van Oostenbrugge, on 23 December 1908. He was 24 and she was 20.2 They had at least 2 children but their names are not known.2
          Due to a need for men to serve during World War I, the United States instituted a draft. With no end in sight for World War I, the United States instituted its third and final draft registration. It included all men who were between the ages of 18 and 21, and 31 to 45 years of age. This added younger men than the previous registrations, those who were born between September 12, 1897 and September 12, 1900; and added an older group of men, born between September 12, 1873 and September 12, 1888. Anthony filled out a draft card on 12 September 1918 in Harvey, Cook County, Illinois. He was described as having a medium height and build and he had grey eyes. His nearest relative was given as Martha Jacobs of South Holland, relationship unknown. He was 34 years old.1 Anthony worked as a farmer.1 Anthony was living in South Holland, Cook County, Illinois.1 Anthony died on 2 May 1977.2 He was 92 old.
