     Anna (?) was born circa 1848 in the Netherlands.¹ Anna married Jacob Kuyper.
          Jacob, age 36, and Anna, age 22, were enumerated on the 1870 Federal Census for the Calumet Post Office in Hyde Park, Cook County, Illinois. Also enumerated in this household were two boarders. Charles Hews, age 24, is a "phisician" and Banka Hews, age 19, is a teamster.¹ Follow the link to see the census image.
