Willem Dalenberg (M) (9 February 1852 - 29 December 1939) Relationship=Great-grandson of Pieter Cornelisz Dalenberg. Last Edited=17 Jun 2005 Willem Dalenberg was born on 9 February 1852 in South Holland, Cook County, Illinois.2 He was the son of Klaas Dalenberg and Keetje Gouwens.1 Pietertje and Willem have been reported to have been born 3 months apart. I believe that Pietertje's information is incorrect because nothing else is known about her.3 William, age 7, was enumerated in the household of his parents on the 1860 Federal Census in Thornton, Cook County, Illinois. Willem married Rikje Van Oostenbrugge on 9 June 1884 in Roseland, Cook County, Illinois.7 He was 31 years old; she was 24 years old. Willem and Rikje had 5 children. These children are Pieter W., Eva, Clarence W., Cornelia and Jan.1 William, age 48, and Rikje, age 40, were enumerated on the 1900 Federal Census in South Holland Village, Cook County, Illinois. Also enumerated in this household were their children: Peter (age 15), Eva(age 10), Clarence (age 8), Cornelia (age 6), an unknown person (age 4). Also enumerated in this household were their children: Peter (age 24), Clarence (age 18), Cornelia (age 16), and John (age 13). Another daughter, Eva, was not enumerated with them.
