George W. Milslagle was born circa 1853 in Piedmont, Hampshire County, Virginia.1,2
He was the son of John Milslagle and Ann (?).1
George, age 7, was enumerated in the household of his parents on the 1860 Federal Census in Piedmont, Hampshire County, Virginia. He attends school.3

He was not enumerated in the household of his parents on the 1870 Federal Census for the New Creek Post Office, Piedmont Township, Mineral County, West Virginia. His expected age is about 17.4
According to his death certificate, George was married but the name of his wife is not known.1
George worked as a railroader.1
George died on 9 July 1881. The cause of death was typhoid fever.1
He was about 28 years old.
He is the 2nd great-grandson of Johann Andreas Mühlschlägel, original immigrant.
