          Josiah was enumerated on the 1790 census for Ridgefield, Fairfield County, Connecticut. I have not been able to identify these people that were also enumerated with him: two males under 16 and one female.³ Follow the link to see the census image.
          Josiah was enumerated on the 1800 census for Ridgefield as Josiah Lobdell, aged between 26 and 44. I have not been able to identify these people that were also enumerated with him: four females under 10; one male between 10 and 15; and one female between 26 and 44.⁴ Follow the link to see the census image.
