Sarah M. Wayley was born in March 1864 in Norway.¹ She was the daughter of John Wayley and Bertha (--?--).¹ Her name has also been given as Martha Serina.² Sarah immigrated in 1885 to the United States of America.¹ Sarah married Thor E. Thorson, son of Erick Thorson and Agnes Larson, on 18 January 1893.³ He was 37 years old and she was 28. Sarah and Thor had six children. These children are John Amil, Agete, Eddie, Talene, Mabel, Arthur and Bertha.³
