     Lois Esther Wilson was born on 18 March 1914 in Story County, Iowa, USA.¹ She was the daughter of William Guy Wilson and Almina Esther Nelson.¹ Lois, age 5, was enumerated in the household of her parents on the 1920 Federal Census.² Follow the link to see the census image. Lois, age 16, was enumerated in the household of her parents on the 1930 Federal Census in Washington Township, Story County, Iowa, USA. She attends school.³ Lois married Francis Wilson Rittgers, son of Timothy Denny Rittgers and Agnes Elizabeth Wilson, on 21 March 1936.⁴ He was 36 years old and she was 22. Lois and Francis may have had numerous children but I only know the name of one child, Stephen Ray.⁴ Lois was living in Dallas Center, Dallas County, Iowa, USA.¹ Lois was listed as a surviving daughter of William Guy Wilson in the obituary published in February 1963 in an unknown newspaper.
