     Alice Viola Donaker was born in May 1860 in Millersburg, Iowa County, Iowa, USA. She was the daughter of Jacob E.           Alice married George Wharton Wilson, son of William Wilson and Martha Ann Wharton, on 5 April 1883 in Calhoun County, Iowa, USA.⁴ He was 26 years old; she was 23 years old.⁵ Alice and George had three children. One daughter (not named) was born 8 Jun 1884 and died later the same year. Two children lived to adulthood. These children are Gail W. and Margaret C..⁴ Viola, age 24, was enumerated in the household of her parents on the 1885 Iowa State Census at (Township 88, Range 33, Twin Lakes) in Rockwell, Calhoun County, USA. She is living with her husband, George, age 27.⁶ Viola and Gail reportedly appeared on the 1895 census in Lohnville, Calhoun County, Iowa, USA.           George, age 57, and Viola, age 60, were enumerated on the 1900 Federal Census in Twin Lakes, Calhoun County, Iowa, USA. Also enumerated in this household were their children: Gail (age 12), and Margaret (age 2). Also living with them are 12 borders (I've not included them in this database).           George, age 61, and Viola, age 57, were enumerated on the 1920 Federal Census in Seffner, Hillsborough County, Florida, USA. They own their farm without a mortgage.⁹ Follow the link to see the census image.
          George, age 73, and Viola, age 69, were enumerated on the 1930 Federal Census in Precinct 61, Hillsborough County, Florida, USA. They own their farm.⁵
          George died on 11 August 1939, leaving Viola a widow.¹⁰ In 1940, Alice was living in Seffner.⁴ At the time of her death, Viola lived in Clearwater, Pinellas County, Florida, USA.⁴ Viola died in 1955 in Tampa, Hillsborough County, Florida, USA.¹⁰ She was about 95 old. She and George were buried at Rose Hill Cemetery in Rockwell Center, Calhoun County, Iowa, USA.⁴
