Governor of the Commonwealth of Virginia, To all To whom these Presents
shall come, Greeting Know ye, that by virtue of a Land Office Treasury Warrant
Number fifteen thousand one hundred and twenty five issued the Seventh of
March one thousand seven hundred and eighty three three, there is
granted by the said Commonwealth, unto Isaac Clement a Certain Tract or
parcel of Land, Containing ninety two Acres by Survey bearing date the twenty
eighth day of April One thousand seven hundred and ninety eight, lying and
being in the County of Pittsylvania on the North fork of Pudding Creek and
bounded as followeth to wit Beginning at pointers in his own line thence
new lines West Seventy two poles to Pointers, North two hundred poles to
a Poplar on the aforesaid fork East Seventy two poles crossing the said
fork to Pointers thence South two hundred poles to the Beginning. With its
appurtenances, To have and To hold the said Tract or parcel of Land with
its appurtenances to the said Isaac Clement and his Heirs forever. In Witness
whereof the Said James Wood Esquire Governor of the Commonwealth of Virginia
hath hereunto set his Hand, and Caused the lessor Seal of the said Commonwealth
to be Affixed at Richmond, on the eighteenth Day of April in the year of
our Lord one thousand Seven hundred & Ninety nine, and of the Commonwealth
the twenty third.
