To William Clements of King William Co., 1,225 ac. in Amelia Co. on south side of Appomattox River, bounded by Thomas Franklin, Bent Run (creek), Abraham Echols, Jacob Seay, Joseph Echols, William Echols, Paul Pigg, Appomattox River. (Note: The patent also included the meets and bounds, which I plotted, showing the shape of the land, and its location on the Appomattox River. This conformed completely with that shown on a map "Platt of The Land Patents of Amelia County, Virginia", prepared by Dr. Robert Brunfield, which is available from the Amelia Co, VA Historical Society.)

To William Clement Jr, 74 ac. in Amelia Co., on the head of Bent Run, beginning at George Spains corner, thence along Ellington's line south 24 degrees west 126 poles to Jacob Seay's corner, thence along his line west 40 degrees north 120 poles to his corner, thence north 40 degrees east 80 poles to his corner white oak, thence along Clement's line east 95 poles to George Spain's line, thence along his line south 8(?) degrees west 24 poles to the beginning.
