Know all men by these presents that I Johnson Clement have this day bargained Sold & delivered to Sally J.Clement four Negroes Slaves, vis, Letty George Reah & Margaret it being in consideration of her interest in Certain Negroes loaned to her mother & given to her by her Grandfather Mat Moore as devised in his last Will, which Negroes or her interest in the same she Sally J. Clement Sold to her Father Johnson Clement & gave him with Others a Bill of Sale of her interest in Said Negroes the above Named Negroes George Letty Reah & Margaret is in full payment for her interest as devised by her grandfather Mat Moore decd I Johnson Clement do covenant & defend the title of sd. Negres to Sally J. Clement her Heirs & assigns against the claim of all persons claiming under me my Heirs or assigns In Witness whereof I have hereunto Set my hand and Seal this 11th day September AD 1836
