I Edmond
Clement of the District of Spartanburgh in the State aforesaid, do
make the following as my last Will and Testament ~ To wit
1st. I will that all all my just debts and
funeral Expenses be paid ~
2nd. I give and bequeath unto my Grand Daughter
Mahaly Burnett one New feather Bed & Stead & Sheets and cover
lett ~ for herself and heirs forever ~
3: I give and bequeath unto my wife Elizabeth
Clement all the ballance of my real and personal Estate, of whatsoever
kind, including the money I may have ~ to hold and be used and enjoyed
by her during her lifetime, and at her death, whatever may be remaining
~ I will and desire that the Same may be equally divided Share and Share
alike among all my children ~
4 I do hebeby nominate Constitute
and appoint John Clement, my son, sole Executor of this my last Will and
Testment, with a perfect confidence, that he will duly carry the Same
into effect. ~ In witness whereof I have hereunto Set my hand & Seal
This 21st day of November 1834.
