This
Indenture made this 20 day of November in the year of our lord one
thousand eight hundred and six between Charles Lynch and Sally his wife
of Shelby County and State of Kentucky of the one part and Isham
Clement of the county and State aforesaid of the other part Witnesseth
that the said Charles Lynch and Sally his wife for and in consideration
of the sum of one hundred and fifty dollars current money of Kentucky to
them in hand paid the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged they the said
Charles Lynch and Sally his wife hath granted bargained and sold aliened
and confirmed and by these presents doth grant bargain and sell alien and
confirm unto the said Isham Clement
his heirs and assigns the full quantity of fifty acres of land situate in
Shelby County and State of Kentucky and is a part of John Mays survey of
two thousand two hundred acres on Brashears's creek and bounded as follows,
to wit, Beginning at three Sugartrees thence South twenty seven and a half
degrees West one hundred poles to three sugartrees thence South fifty eight
and a half degrees East eighty poles to an Ironwood and two Sugartrees thence
North twenty seven and a half degrees West one hundred poles to three Beaches
thence North fifty eight degrees West eighty poles to the beginning with
its appurtenances To have and to hold the said fifty acres of land and all
and Singular the premises above mentioned with the appurtenances unto the
said Isham Clement his heirs and
assigns forever free and clear from all incumbrences and the said Charles
Lynch and Sally his wife the said land and premises against them and their
heirs and against all and all maner of person or persons unto the
said Isham Clement his heirs and
assigns shall and will warrant and forever defend by these presents in witness
whereof they the said Charles Lynch and Sally his wife hath hereunto set
their hands and affixed their seals the day and year first above written
Shelby County Sct. Clerks office November 20th 1806 This Indenture of bargain and sale from Charles Lynch to Isham Clement was this day acknowledged by the said Lynch to be his act and deed whereupon the same is admitted to record.
