  This Indenture made this thirteenth day of June in the Year of our Lord Christ one thousand seven hundred and eighty nine Between Jesse Robinson and Bettey Robinson his wife both of the County of Pittsylvania of the one part and Robert Williams of the County aforesaid of the other part Witnesseth that the said Jesse Robinson and Bettey Robinson for and the consideration of the sum of Seventy five pounds Virginia Currency to them in hand paid by the said Robert Williams the receipt whereof they the said Jesse Robinson and Bettey Robinson doth hear By acknowledge Hath given granted and Sould and by these presents doth give grant bargain and sell and confirm unto the said Robert Williams his Heirs Executors and Assigns for ever all that Divident tract peace or parcel of Land situate lying and being in the County aforesaid on both sides of Youngs Creek it being two hundred Acroros taken of three hundred Acroros which was Pattened by Eward Wade and Conveyed from him to George Young by a Deed duely recorded and then conveyed from Young to Seth Tanar by a Deead which was duely recorded and then Conveyed from Seth Tanar to me the said Jesse Robinson and bounded as follows, to wit, Begining at Corner red Oak in Mays Order line on then of a line of marked trees to John Youngs line then his line to Josiah Mortons corner white oak from thence along William Hawlet's line to Delosers Entery the old line then to Roberts line, then his line to Mays Order then along his line to the begining containing Two hundred Acroros together with all woods ways Waters and Water courses Proffits commodities advantages Hereditaments and Appertanences unto the said Robert Williams to have and to hold the said Divident track peace or parsel of Land unto the said Robert Williams his heirs and assigns for ever And he the said Jesse Robinson and Bettey Robinson for themselves their heirs and assigns doth covenant grant and agree to and with the said Robert Williams and his heirs that they will warrant and forever defend the said track peace or parsel of Land premises from any person or persons whatsoever from laying any just clame to the said Two hundred Acroros of Land In Witness whereof the said Jesse Robinson and Bettey Robinson hear unto set their hands and affixed their Seals the day and year first within ritten

This Indenture was acknowledged by the above named Jesse Robinson to be his act and Deed and the same was ordered to be Recorded By the Court
