  A Deed of Gift  
To all People to whome these Presants shall come Isaac Clement do send Greeting Know ye that the said Isaac Clement of Pittsylvania County in Virginia for and in Consideration of the love good will and Affection which I have and do bare toward my loving Sons Stephen Clement, Isaac Clement jr and Hugh Clement of the same County and State have given and Granted, and by these presants do freely give and grant unto my Son Stephen Clement two hundred and forty six Acres of Land lying on a Branch of Banester called Pooding Creek being part of a track of Land Granted to me the 20th day of October 1779 and bounded by four lines East, West North and South, the above mentioned 246 Acres of Land given to my Son Stephen Clement is to be taken of oue the the said at the South end by an East and West line across the said track which is freely given by me to him his heirs, Executors and Administrators, the remaining part of the said track of One hundred and fifty four Acres at the North end and Ninty two Acres joining at the North end of the said track which is allso bounded by lines East, West, North and South I give to my Son Isaac Clement jr his heirs, Executors and Administrators. And I give and grant to my Son Hugh Clement a certain track or parsel of Land that was Deeded to me by Richard terrel febuary the Ninth 1796 for two hundred Acres, be the same more or less, and is bounded by four lines between Nelson tucker and my self Run by Edward flowers and Richard terril, thence along hunts South 55 degrees West to a Corner Maple in hunts line thence South 55 degres East 206 poles to a pine, thence North 55 degrees East 127 pole to a pine where the deviding line begins I allso give and grant to my Son Hugh Clement One Acre of Land taken up by my self joining the said tract, all of both tracks is by me freely given to the said Hugh Clement his heirs Executors or Administrators, and by these presants do freely give and grant unto my Son Stephen Clement his heirs Executors, or Administratirs 246 Acres of Land as above mentioned in this Deed to his only use and disposias of for ever Allso to Isaac Clement jun.r I give as above mentioned in thes Deed 246 Acres of to him his heirs Executors or Administrators as above mentioned deed to to his only use and disposal of for ever And to my Son Hugh Clement I give and grant the Land I bough Richard terral and one acre as above mentined in this Deed to his only use and disposal of for ever and from hence forth for ever the said the said Lands is and all benefits thereon is to remain with my three Sons Stephen Clement, Isaac Clement jr and Hugh Clement to them and their heirs, Executors or Administrators as above mentioned without any maner of condition in Witness whereof I heve unto sit my hand and Seal this 9th day of June one thousand seven hundred and ninty eight
