Know all men by the presents that we Francis Clemons widow of Vachel
Clemons Decd and Isham Clemons Jesse Clemons and Sarah Clemons children
of said Vachel Clemons now of Marion County Illinois have this day nominated
conditioned and appointed Joshua Clemons of Edmonson County Kentucky our
true and Lawfull atorney to Sell and convey the Tract of Land in Hart
County Kentucky on which Francis Clemons family lived containing Two Hundred
acres more or less being the same land purchased by said Vachel Clemons
Decd from West and the same that was convey by George T. Wood a commissioner
of Hart County Circuit Court to the children and Heirs at Law of said
Vachel Clemons Decd. And to receive the purchas money and convey said
tract of land or an interest by Deed of General Warrantee. In Testimony
Whereof we have here unto set our hands + seal this 25th day of A.D. 1857

I H Rockhold a Justice of the peace of said County Do Certify that Francis
Clemons Isham Clemons Sarah F Clemons and Jesse Clemons whose signatures
appear to the foregoing Power of attorney and who are personally known
to me to be the persons who subscribed and executed the same did acknowledge
the same to be their free act and Deed for the Purposes therein mentioned
