  This Indenture made this the Twenty fourth day of May in the Year of our Lord one Thousand seven Hundred and sixty Eight between Adam Clement and Agness his Wife of the county of Bedford of the one part and Stephen Clement of the Same County of the other part Witnesseth that the said Adam Clement and Agness his Wife doth hereby Acknowledge hath given Granted Bargained and sold and by these presents doth give Grant Bargain Sell Deliver and Confirm unto him the said Stephen Clement his Hiers or Assigns forever one Certain tract or parcel of Land Situate Lying and being in the County of Bedford Containing ??? acres Lying on Both Sides of Ivy Creek and is Bounded as followeth To wit Beginning at Henry Guttreys Corner pointers on William Callaways line then on Callaways line North forty five Degrees West Ninety two poles to pointers then South Sixty five degrees west one Hundred and Eighty Eight poles to a Red Oak then South forty Two degrees west one Hundred and Thirty poles to a Corner then South Thirty Degrees East Eighty seven poles to pointers then New Lines North fifty four Degrees East Three Hundred and Thirty seven poles to the first Station as by a Deed To Rowland horsley Burks Dated the Twenty fifth day of August one Thousand Seven Hundred and Sixty four Referance thereunto being had will at Large Together with all and Singular the priviledges and Appertenances thereunto belonging or in any Wise Appertaing to have and to hold the above Land premises with all the Appertenances unto the said Stephen Clement his heirs and Assigns forever to the only proper Use and Behoof of him the said Stephen Clement his Heirs and Assigns forever against him the said Adam Clement his Heirs or Assigns and against the Claim and Demand of any person or persons Whatsoever Shall and will by these persents Warrant and will Defend In Witness Whereof he the said Adam Clement and Agness his wife hath hereunto set their hands and Seals the day and year first above Written Signed Sealed and Delivered

Memorandom that on the day and Year first within Mentioned Quiet and peaceable possession of the within Mentioned Land and Premises was given and made by Adam Clement and Agness his wife to Stephen Clement in presents of the Subscribing Witnesses
