This Indenture made this 2nd day of June 1832 Between Vachel Clement
and Fanny his wife of the County of Hart of the one part and Henry Crutcher
of the other part all of the state of Kentucky witnesseth that the said
Vachel Clement for and in consideration of the sum of six hundred Dollars
in hand paid the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged hath bargained
and sold and by these presents do grant, bargain and sell unto the said
Henry Crutcher his heirs & assigns forever a certain tract or parcel of
land, situate, lying, and being in the County of Barren and known by the
name of the trough spring the place where John Pointer now resides containing
Three hundred and eighteen acres and bounded as follows to wit Beginning
at a white oak near said spring thence south 40 west one hundred & five
poles to a white and Black oak thence S25 E26 poles to a post oak thence
S61 W20 poles to 3 post oaks thence N65 W66 poles to a stake thence N20
E128 poles to a stake thence north 80 w60 poles to a stake thence N10
E221 poles to three Black Jacks thence N78 E80 poles to a Poplar and walnut
thence S75 E9 poles to Black oak thence 252 to the begining To have and
to hold the said tract or parcel of land with its appertainances thereto
belonging except Eighteen acres at the south west end right angle with
said survey to the said Henry his heirs and assigns forever and the said
Vachel for himself and heirs do warrent and agree to defend the claim
to said land from himself and heirs and assigns and from the claim of
all other persons whatsoever in witness whereof the said Vachel and Fanny
his wife have herein to set their hands and seals this day and year above
written

Barren County Court Clerks Office To wit
I William Logan Clerk of the county Court for said county do certify that
the within and foregoing Deed of Conveyance from Vachel Clement to Henry
Crutcher was on the 2nd day of June 1832 acknowledged before me by said
Vachel clement to be his act and Deed in the place and State and to Remedy
a former Deed made by said clement to said Crutcher for said Land the
boundry being incorrectly and thereupon the aforesaid Conveyance and the
Certificate hath been duly admited to Record in said office
