  This Indenture made this twenty fourth Day of December One thousand Seven hundred and fifty three by and between Gideon Seay of Royleigh parish in Amelia County of the one part and Samuel Major of the parish and County Aforesaid of the Other part witnesseth that the sd. Gideon Seay for and in Consideration of the sum of Fifty pounds curr.t money to him in Hand paid by the said Samuel Major at and before the Insealing and Delivering of these presence the Receipt whereof he Doth Hereby Acknowledge and thereof and Every part thereof doth Clearly Equit and Discharge the said Samuel Major his heirs Ex.trs and administrators & every of them by these presence hath Given Granted Bargaind Sold & Retrieved & confirmed and by these presence doth Give Grant Allien bargin sell ? Confirm unto the sd. Samuel Major one track or parcel of Land Containing on hundred and Ninety three acres Cituate lying and being in the Parish of Royleigh and County of Amelia aforesd. it being the land where on the said Gideon Seay's Plantation now is on the great bent Creek and bounded as Followeth to wit Begining at a lightwood not with Several saplins Chopt inward thence North twenty five Degrees East two hundred and Twenty Six poles to a corner gum by the sd. Creek thence North one hundred and two poles to a corner hickery in William Clements line thence North Sixty Eight Degrees west forty Eight poles to a beach on the sd. Creek by the mouth of a small branch thence up the sd. branch as it maenders to a white Oak Standing on the south side of the north fork of the said branch thence South Eighty five Degrees west Eighty poles to pointers in Benja Clements Former line thence south one hundred and fifty Eight poles to the begining with all and singular the apurtenances thereunto belonging unto the said Samuel Major and his heirs for the only proper use and behoof of him the said Samuel Major his heirs and assigns for Ever and the said Gideon Seay for himself his Executors Administrators doth Covenant and agree to and with the said Samuel Major that it shall and may be lawfull to and for ye said Samuel Major his heirs and assigns from time to time and at all times for Ever hereafter peasably and quietly to have hold Occupy possess and Enjoy ye said land and premises of the right and title of the said Gideon Seay his heirs Executors administrators or assigns or any other person or persons lawfully Claiming or to Claim In by from or under them or any of them and the said Gideon Seay for him self and his heirs the said land and premises before Intended mensioned & Exprest unto ye said Samuel Major and his Heirs and all Claiming or to Claim in by from or under them or any of them shall and will warrant and for Ever defend by these presence In witness whereof the said Gideon Seay hath hereunto Set his Hand and Fixed his seal the day and year first above writen

Memorandom That on the Twenty fourth day of December In the year of our lord Christ one thousand Seven hundred and fifty Three Peasable and quiet possession of the land and premices within Granted and sold was had and taken by the within Named Gideon Seay and by him Deliver.d to the within mentioned Samuel Major as the Usal Simballs of Livery & Seizen according to the Forse form and Defect of the within Deed

This Deed with Livery and Seison Endorsed from Gideon Seay to Samuel Major was proved by the Oaths of William Clement Frans. Clement and Francis Anderson three of the witnesses thereto and ordered to be Recorded
